Malabar Spinach da Saag Recipe

Input Ingredients:

Main ingredients: Freshly pickup Malabar spinach

Spices: Garlic, Mustard, turmeric, cumin seeds, chilly

Preparation time: 5 mins

Cooking time: 10 mins

Process:

1. Chop the fresh malabar spinach into small pieces. I used the Malabar spinach from my terrace kitchen garden for best flavor.

2. Chop the garlic, chilies. Make a paste of garlic cloves, chilies, mustard, turmeric. Keep aside.

3. Chop two tomatoes. Grind and make tomato puree.

4. Boil the chopped malabar spinach for nearly 5 minutes till it is smooth.

5. Heat a pan.

6. Put a tablespoon of cooking oil on heated pan.

7. Put mustard, cumin seeds, wait to splutter.

8. Add the paste made of grinding garlic cloves, chilies, mustard, turmeric. Let it cook for 2 minutes till the raw smell is gone.

9. Add tomato puree. Give it a good stern. Cook for nearly four minutes. Give stern in between.

10. Add boiled Malabar spinach. Give a good stern. Cover it for 2 minutes so that the spinach will soak the ingredients.

11. Serve it with hot rice.

Output:

Scrumptious Malabar spinach leaves da saag, which is full of nutrition, immunity booster and at the same time mouthwatering tasty too.
